Vintage buses have recently become one of the favorite vehicles used in mobile tiny house conversions. Karen Fraser is one such owner of a vintage bus tiny house. But instead of living in it, she turned it into a “home away from home” for travelers seeking alternative lodging in the city.
The Brandy Bus, as Karen calls it, is a vintage double-decker bus that’s been converted into a chic and cozy vacation rental on Airbnb. A living area and kitchenette are on the first level, while the sleeping area is upstairs. There’s plenty of comfy lounge and bed space on both floors. Just outside the bus home is an al fresco dining area overlooking a garden, and a separate shower and toilet. Ample windows open onto gorgeous views of greenery. The interior is decorated with just the right mix of hippy and quaint, evoking warmth and relaxation for weary travelers. The bus can easily accommodate 6 people.
The Brandy Bus is located in the suburbs of Karen in the city of Nairobi. It is close to many tourist attractions, bars, restaurants, shops, and banks. It is accessible to both two airports in the city. This charming, homely mobile rental, looks and feels like a home away from home.
